Community Living Concepts, Inc  (CLC) has a long proud history of serving and advocating for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in North Texas beginning in 1981.  We believe at CLC that persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the right to live as independently as possible in their communities.  CLC serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the HCS and ICF/ID programs.  CLC also provides day habilitation and pre-vocational services through our sister organization Community Opportunities, Inc.

CLC's mascot is the Bumblebee.  Why the bumblebee?  Because the bumblebee is not supposed to fly!  Engineers have declared that according to the laws of aerodynamics its wings are too small for its large body and therefore, it should be impossible for it to fly.  But it does!  It's just that no one told the bee.  At CLC, we believe people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, like the bumblebee can achieve more than anyone ever imagined when provided services that maximizes their strengths and supports their needs.

So, welcome to our site.  Check out the array of services CLC offers.  Come by and visit us and you'll find out why our services are built on relationships.  As you navigate through our site, you'll see random pictures of some of our consumers, families and homes, just click on a picture and it will enlarge to give you a better view.  Check out our new Fun Stuff page.
